6) The blinds should slide easily into the brackets. The lift cord should be on the right side of the window and the wand on the left side of the window. (This may vary if you have motorized window blinds.)
7) Once the blinds are properly fitted into the brackets, place the end caps over the brackets and secure them with a few screws for stability.

Wood blinds and faux wood blinds may require anchors and additional hardware because of their sheer weight.
